Looking good my friend. It has been quite mild up here today. I am going out to do some wiring on the bike shortly for my water boiler.

    A fantastic cruising day planned.

    Thumbs down Ride Cancelled

Today's ride is cancelled (postponed to next Sunday).

It is raining in Masterton and windy. There is a prediction of gale force winds in exposed places, snow to 200m, and rain until late afternoon. Kiwikat says over in Feilding there are dark gray rain clouds on the horizon. Bugger!

See you next Sunday when it will be sunny and dry!

Still like a Ruapehu morning here. Thick cloud moving in from the south.

    Just started raining here now.

I am still hoping for a short ride (close to home) so I might head out at 10:00am from BP Feilding if weather allows. Bulls, Sanson, Turakina Valley, maybe Vinegar Hill if weather holds and home. Must be a good coffee shop somewhere. Reality is ... it doesn't look likely.

If ya looking for a pit stop down these ways mate google map swamp rd tehoro nz and where it lands take the st view and pan 10 degrees to the left ! Thats the drive to take (the drive at the very end takes you up to the marae)
My cell is in my details if ya wanna grab that in case !
Not too sure about coffee but there are one or two non alcoholic bevs available lol !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Typical. The weather in Feilding cleared up after lunch apart from a short sprinkling of hail. Just got home from a ride over Vinegar hill. The ride to Vinegar hill was in the sun and quite pleasant. Pretty chilly so thank god for the new heated grips. The ride back home on SH2 was blusterly with a light shower of rain just south of Hunterville.

Time for a coffee and to thaw out in front of the log fire.

See you all next Sunday hopefully. I think the right decision was made to can today's ride. The weather was just too dodgy and after an hour out on my bike I'm gald to back inside.
