If the weather plays ball tomorrow the ride across Fields Track will be on. At this stage there is a cold, wet front moving down the country. We will confirm by 8:30 am whether the ride is happening.

After a catch up and bite to eat we can then proceed to Feilds Track, a legendary piece of back country rd. Bring your camera's as the scenery is quite spectacular from the top of the hill

The track itself is reasonably challenging, quite steep in places with the possibility of damp and the odd amount of pea gravel. If we take it easy there should be no problems.

The track takes us back down to the Para's, another iconic road and from there we can head back via Fordell.

Obviously if the weather's shite we'll do it another time.

Some idea of numbers wouldn't go amiss. See ya there

High winds forecast for the high country (40 kts). Be wet and up there too. I reckon we'll save it for a better day. A local cafe run may be better, so how about meet at Feilding 1000 and decide from there

Onya Andrew, saw you guys turning off at Bunnythorpe, hope it was good We'd done a couple of days on the bikes already so thought we'd wait for a better one.

Did a quick local ride, back home now with the fire on, good to catch up with KK, GSVR and Polly

BTW: when you guys go through make sure you stop at the bridge in my pics and look up the valley. There was a nice little waterfall pouring off the side of the hill - shame I didn't notice when I had my camera out.

Nice write up. It's a good ride that one eh, not too long, not too short. Thought the weather would be as you described it, but not too bad by the sounds. We'll do it again for sure

Sounds like you four had a good run. I'll hold out for a fine day for that one though. Sorry my heart wasn't really into a big ride, too much other stuff happening. Had some quality family time instead. It was good to catch up with a few others for a coffee.
