It's only Rock and Roll but I like it
So how did the Thunderbird handle all those corners?
Seemed to do pretty well all things considered. It's a very very nice cruiser. This one has the short pipes, sounds farking grouse!

Yes it went pretty well. Look better in the flesh too.
I couldn't let you go with a shreaded rear end could I!
Hang on....how come it was safe enough for me to ride the Tiger and not you?
It was a lovely squirt out to Wangas with the two Tigers claiming the highway-thanks Toolman and judy for the companyNice ride back through Fordell to Hunterville and then the favourite halcombe hill and through to PN Hospital to see the boy. Ankle is all wired up now and pretty sore-hopefully home tomorrow and in for 6-8wks mending time. Better stock the pantry me thinks.
Great day to be out on the roads![]()

Great ride, 200ks covered of fantastic kiwi back roads
Good to meet you guys and put some faces to forum names .edit, 200miles covered
Awesome ride yesterday apart from wee mishap that I had after going back up the road to take a photo. I put my foot down to support the bike as I did a tight 180 turn. Problem was the ground was too far away!! Anyway the bike came off pretty light with the back cover of the indicator broken. Nothing a piece of insulation tape couldn't fix.
The last time I rode the paras there were road works. Boy what a difference now that they are finished. Zipping along the top was a lot of fun.
Here's a couple of photos. A team photo, a refuelling stop, cool looking Thunderbird (couple days old I gather) and my bike overlooking the road down from the summit and just before it fell overClick again on the photo to get an even larger version.

Great pic of the team drooling over the mighty Connie!
