Sorry Sarge. Kwaka make jetskis for a reason.
Is the ride on this weekend - or just off indefinitely?

Not looking hopeful. 8.00 a.m. and it's pissing down in Feilding. The forecast for today is morning showers then clearing.

Still raining. I think it's safe to say that today's ride is cancelled.

Think I'll go to the movies and watch Star Trek. Should be good.

The wife and I saw Star Trek and loved it. Highly recommended. Yeah the theatre was packed. Anyone arriving late had split their party up as there were only a few single seats left.

I've just put a set of Oxford heated grips on my bike. Went for my first ride yesterday with them on. No more cold hands for me. Wish I had them 25 years ago when I used to ride to work every day all year round.

My apologies for next Wednesday's meeting. I'll be working in New Plymouth.

Love Star Trek, must get there! Oxfords and Scottoiler go on the Tiger in two weeks, not a moment too soon.

Not to be beaten. I hear heated grips are in short supply at the moment.

Well the weather has manged to put the damper on our planned rides for the last two weekends. The next Feilding Ride is the Backroads to Martinborough excursion on Sunday the 31st May being organised by Steve from Carterton. This should be a goodie.

We will be getting together for our monthly social night on next Wednesday (27th) at Murray's in Feilding. Bring your bike if you dare.

Great ride plan. See you guys there on Wednesday. Managed to get to Star Trek, well worth it. I'd describe it as 'swashbuckling', quite funny too. Loved the bit where they opened the beautifully polished stainless steel warp drive throttle - and nothing happened. Caused a wee 'moment' on the bridge before they figured it out. Hilarious

Hi guys - Sunday's ride is ON at this stage: Lunch in Martinborough - back roads (nearly) all the way, to and from P Nth. The route I have planned is fantastic - details will be posted later this week.

Weather is set to clear on Thursday and Friday. Unfortunately showers and southwesterlies are predicted for Sunday in the Wairarapa and Manawatu but forecasts can change so lets hope for sunny warm weather...

Not a GPS map, but I will give details of the route with a map.

The weather forecast for the Wairarapa on Sunday is "Periods of rain. Strong cold southerlies." Similar for the Manawatu. Seems to be typical Queen's BDay weather. Lets hope for a good weather otherwise it will be yet another canceled ride.
