Feilding Riders

Was looking at Mcrides to see who is using it, then clicked on the Feilding Riders web site link, to see when the next ride and meeting is.

Not sure, but I think we have 2 new members of the club??????

I got a ring from a Jeremy the other day. He and his father are keen to come on some rides. Have given him the web sites to check out. We may see them at the next club night.

If that is a photo of Jeremy and his dad, then it looks like their sex change operations went very well !?

Note: This is a duplicate post from the Feilding Riders web pages.

The forecast is for "mostly fine" tomorrow. There is an informal ride

on tomorrow Sunday 1:00pm - Meet at Feilding BP.

My route - backroads - through Halcombe, (maybe Hunterville / Fordell) Marton, Turakina.
Finishing with Drinks at ??? (to be determined)

Feilding Riders Club is still very much active after an absolutely shocking June and July. But it was winter after all but a lot colder and wetter than I remember the last few years being.

The weather has not been kind to us and it has been frustrating postponing and cancelling rides for weather and safety. One of our informal rides was mostly okay then we got caught in extremly strong winds - I love the Manawatu.

This Wednesday we have our monthly club social night at Murray's Irish Bar in Feilding. It would be great to have a few of the old faces there to meet some of the newer riders in our group. Let's confirm some rides and organise a party

to get over the weather.

Looking forward to Weds nite. Party, excellent idea. We're planning another one after the first Friday night ride but it'd be good to have something to tide us over til then.

Ride: Sunday 2 August. Tour De Manawatu
Sorry all I have not been able to finalise this ride due to bad weather and work commitments Etc Etc.
But never fair there is always a plan B.
We will meet at BP Feilding at the usual time "10am" and then see how the weather is, Then we will make it up as we go along.
Should be a good ride.
I will be doing the "Tour" later when I have more time to spend on it.
We will have a chat about it at the meeting.

Isn't it a bugger when work and home life get in the way of riding.

Meeting Wednesday night, 7:30pm at Murray's so we will take it from there for the rides. Must start getting out more.

We will be there-having a spot of tea first. The little Drummer boy has practice next Wednesday so that worked out well

Definitely looking forward to getting out more.
