    Fork rebuild

    Hi guys,
Is there anyone that you guys could recommend to rebuild my NSR forks?
The seals and dust boots are shot, so it would just be a case replacing those and filling them up with oil.
And what cost would I be expecting?
    Cheers

Hi Mate - I just had my forks re-chromed by MDL racing - good job too.

seals and stuff is pretty straight forward - but they will do that too if you don't have time/experience.

    Cheers

Yeah just ordered new X ring chain and pair of sprockets. Cyletreads will fit lot for $349. Not too bad in my opinion, saves me wasting a day on it. Hopefully existing set up will last till next friday when it can be done.

If anyone knows of a good car mechanic on shore that will tow & fix my Nissan please let us know. Clutch has gone & its not moving. Have to get it shifted by Monday, or its getting towed at my expense.

good luck. if you havent had good luck, start the car whilst in 1st gear and go up and down the box without clutch. to up the box. foot of gas, slip gear into neutral then into 2nd gear and so on, same with going down the box. it is possible.

If I may butt in, what are people paying to have a shock rebuilt? I got a 1990's WP. Some of the chrome is missing off the shaft.

    Thanks,
    Steve
