I requested summary of earnings for 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, because thats the options I had on the IRD website. But IRD have only sent me summaries for "1 April 2003 to 31 March 2004" and "1 April 2006 to 31 March 2007". Maybe they have forgotten the others.

And also, if I request a refund for one particlar period, do they then check every year, one year I owe $3 and another I am owed $500 ?

(fark I hate tax, wish I'd gone to school more now and learnt me some readin and countin)
FINE. This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

then if you are owed something, request a personal tax summary which will tell you your refund which you can then confirm and get your money. Don't request this first though because if you owe money you will get a bill. That's why you get the Summary first and use the calc. See, simple
See, I'm stupid (no really, I am) when it comes to numbers.. I'd rather pay someone to do it and see if I get a refund rather than try and stuff it up royally myself..
