    Indicators not flashing

Just got some new indicators for my ol SRX.

They use 23w bulbs compared to the stock 21w bulbs.

When the indicators are operated (doesnt matter if you have 1,2,3 or 4 connected) they come on and simply stay on.

Surely an extra 2w per bulb wouldnt overload the flasher relay?

The original 21w's flashed faster than usual too, and when say, you disconnect the rears, they would actually flash a lot slower (usually expect them to flash quicker)

Im at a bit of a loss here. Ordered some 21w Bulbs but I was given the wrong socket type (need BA9's, very hard to get hold of)

Wondering whats causing it and how its working - that way might be able to determine what to do about it...

    Cheers

Replace the flasher unit with a non-load-sensitive one. Repco, Supercheap et al.

"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
    "Wow, Great advise there DB."

or get some nice LED indicators, you'll need a 10W reisitor tho, i think its 100ohm but not sure.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Did you check to see what voltage your bike is running? Perhaps it is 6v and not 12v?

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
