Who knows what might have happened if you had breaked?
Indeed - disassembled the vehicle into constituent molecules which swarmed around the kid and reassembled on the other side, leaving the little shit intact, perhaps.....

of course i would try avoid him!

That would be true moron few c@#t crew antics.
haha, that would have been great, but the truck would have fallen to bits by the landing!

Prolly a shitty old drum brake canter or something was it ?
Snake brake lol first time i've heard it called that hissssssssssssss !
You doing your 2L are ya ?

40 kph , unloaded, if it was dry i would've stomped on the picks probably, but hey i wasn't there, was your call !
    just a 2 man.
    worse, its a nissan PK!
loaded it stops alot worse, hence my distrust of the brakes!

But Skidmark can stop in 2 m.)

And what is this "snake brake" you speak of? An engine brake?
its just a retarder that works by blocking off the exhaust, its no engine brake!

i did not think it would stop in time

i know that once the brakes are locked, the steering is useless, so why not use the steering first?
not alot of time left for braking, but i got the truck away from the kid

Seriously...., you should have been ready for that shit as soon as you saw it, maybe you needa scan a bit further?
i saw him, and my foot was quite possibly on the brakes, but i sub consciously did not choose to use em

If you made any of the comments in the previous post to a copper at the scene you would get done like a dinner
Of course you are not that dopey , but it is amazing how many that are.

In your original post you asked would have been in the wrong ,probably, because just about everything you have just posted would be used against you.

The last sentence would make it a slam dunk

Yes, er, I mean no Ma'am. Sorry Ma'am.

I guess I meaning parents who stand back with not even any attempt at control. Scuse.

Thats where he hangs his dick out the door and lets it get under the front wheel. I cant use this method coz I keep denting rims.

' So perhaps I was ' care to clarify a little

'Ya gota make a call ', sure thing , I don't say you are right or wrong, you made a decision that worked out OK which is great but if you hit the kid I don't think plod would see it that way.

They would take the approach :- did you take each & every, reasonable & practical means available to avoid snotting the kid. The answer in their eyes would be that you did not. They would prosecute & let the court decide. Just my opinion

tsk, amateurs. If you were 'Chuck good' you would have swung the truck, balanced on half its wheels whilst using the passing wind to part the little darling's hair and wipe its snotty nose.
