    Well, yes, that's close, but I'm looking for more information. And I have used this word in a sentence in conversation whilst driving down the road. OK, so my companion was like, "WTF???" but my masters degree's gotta be good for something, right?

    Study of "dirt", "rock" formations, sediment layers formed either naturally through tectonic activity or glacial type activity. Best I can put into my limited interpretation.....Been a long time since I had anything to do with geology
