That is true.
And about the $400 for not having L-plate..... I got pulled over at 2am going home on my restricted, all the cop did was breath test me, check my license and sent me on my way. I was damn sure I was gonna get stung, but no, I got pleasantly surprised

What you have in your heart will be revealed through what you have in your life.
If things are going badly in our circumstances, the answer to what is happening to us outwardly is more often than not found in the mirror.
Nice to see someone with more than an ounce of sense in here.
attempting to track my bike as a n00b = gen dead [/quote]
Actually no - it's probably the best thing you could do once you get confident riding it. If you're trying to win races then yes - trouble, but have fun, go fast, don't give a shit about the others (you seem to have that sussed) and spend a fun day seeing what you and the bike can do.
You'll be amased at the difference a single track day makes.
$2,000 cash if you find a buyer for my house, kumeuhouseforsale@straightshooters.co.nz for details
Hehe yeah kinda the same here - motorbikes, fast cars, extreme sports, taking risks and looking good at the same time (or so they say)![]()

Naa! You will gain valuable skills and experience at track day. Drag racing a 40hp bike teaches nothing, a few more ponies and you will learn throttle contol but thats about it. Or if you really dont wanna be "Gen dead", get a dirt bike and learn how to ride in the safest but loosest enviroment and then apply your skills to the crazy streets. Tracks days = too much fun. Dirt = Heaven!!!

Hey!
Yeah, attending a track day seems to be the consensus on this thread- i'm convinced. I've done quite a bit of dirt biking on a 125cc 2 stroke (those things are rapid!!) so hopefully I can transfer those skills to a road bike. I think i'll find it hard adjusting to the weight factor to begin with.
