    It'll be interesting to see if it actually gets built.... they stopped construction work to the track because they were so far in debt... The managers wanted payment and they couldn't give it to them. I certainly don't think they'll be making their deadlines at any rate.

    Not sure where you heard that. Construction is proceeding and they're on track for June. This from track management.

    Secondly, what the article actually says is that *IF* NZ retains the A1GP round, it would be most likely run at Hampton Downs.

    The GP contract with NZ has expired. If it is renewed, it'll be hampton.

    60 days from laying the tarmac, the track will be used.
    So they've got till the start of april really to start laying.
