A few years ago my sister and I bought cars from the same dealer only a couple of days apart. Her plate was BEG369 and mine was BEG371

I always thought it was lucky that the first number on her plate wasn't a 4.

    I met this girl.....

My plates on the VW Beetle were TRIARD (most of the time it was broken down and I was heavily into Triathlon) and she has plates that said (UWISH)
That looked good together parked in Parnell back in the days...
I still have the plates, but they are on the van I sold and the neighbour isn't fast in swapping them and giving back....
Got them for my eighteenth birthday, back then they were only about $300 odd?

When personalised plates first came out I remember an ad on the radio which went something like "to advertise your business you could buy 371 beer coasters or a personalised plate". By the time I got mine for the car (46th birthday present) they had gone up to high $500s, now they are astronomical!

The figure I remember was 371 ( I have a weird memory for useless bits of information such as old rego plates and phone numbers. But I will happily agree that we're in the same ball park

Took me quite a while to come up with a musical one because by the time we bought mine pretty much everything musical that I could think of that fitted was already taken! It has graced the last 3 cats I have owned.

While out in the cage other week on Wairoa rd a bike whose number plate made reference to 'lines' had very little respect for the ones on the road.
Overtook three of us in quite a bad spot then proceeded to womble down the devils elbow at a less than brisk pace....

That's just cruel. Can't you just chip them or buy a small collar?
