    Unfortunate or ironic number plates

Our 2000cc Vulcan cruiser is fitted with a pp an reads: 2L VN. Easy to understand, so i thought.
Late last year, stopped in Bulls for gas. An older gent comes up & starts ramblin away how he used to have one and how highly underrated those motors were in their day. They could still pull a decent trailer like the v6's...... an on he went.

Had me phucked, so had to interrupt and ask him wtf he was on about!?!?!

Turns out, he read the plate in reference to an old model VN holden commodore, apparently they came out in a 2 litre four cylinder model! He had the station wagon with the four pot in it, thought it was the bees knees. Fark, a four cylinder commo, it must have been gutless as.

Had to explain to him what the plate actually meant. Silly ole coot.

You'd need to disguise it a little? I was sitting behind a plumbers van at the lights, he had a custom plate: POSWES.

Took me a couple of seconds, but he's welcome to it.

    I hadn't noticed that. It's a seriously mean dredge.

The VC model (well before the VN) also came out with a 2ltr.
The VN was a total piece of crap (disregarding the engine...).

Actually I was seeing if RSKISR was there (yes, that's still available too). I just wanted to see what you could get away with given some of the comparatively tame ones that are considered too naughty!

Had a look recently and found some that surprised me. The following are available WANK1 (not 1WANK that's considered offensive) similarly PRICK1 is available and again 1PRICK is considered offensive. FUDD1 and FANNY1 also available as is PISHY.

The cost of plates here are cheap as chips when compared to UK prices. One of the plates here with the number 1 in it was $969 the equivalent in the UK with the number 8 instead of 1 had an asking price of equivalent of $40k!!!
