Just curious, how well do the Pilot Power 2CT's perform in wet conditions? Compared with Battlax bt-014?
From what ive seen in the wet, the bt014's are quite good. only time theyve let go is on a painted line on the road around a corner (yes i know that was stupid), rear end slid out quite far but managed to save it quite well after it was on proper tar again.

The PP's (standard and 2ct) are pretty good in the wet. I would rate them higher than the BT's in that respect.

Sorry can't comment on the Bridgy's but i've always found the Michy's to be good in the wet though I really don't push my luck to much in the wet I must say. The only time the PP 2ct's have ever wriggled on me is super shiny tarmac.

I took a worn set of battleaxe off my 650 and replaced them with the PR2 and it was a revelation. No sqriggle wriggle in the wet, hand of god holding bike up when tilted way over instead of bike falling into corner, steer with ass instead of bars when just cruising along, best $$/km. Do it, you won't regret it.

I agree with DB...PR 2's are the tyre...last longer than the PP's too

Why not? All depends on type of riding that is being asked of the tyres, surely? For me, PR2s are a no-brainer...very happy with them.Very well, much better than the 014s.
I'd put metzeler M3s on (the 750) over the powers. Or conti sport attacks.

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Yeah - 100% agree there DB. It has been a revelation to me just how different the PR2's are from the original Dunlops...most especially as you say re falling into a corner. None of that now. Ever.

I just wouldn't.... putting touring tyres on a sport bike, just doesn't make sense imo. The powers (or m3s or sport attacks) will last perfectly well and offer faster warm up and better performance in the wet regardless of the type of riding.Why not? All depends on type of riding that is being asked of the tyres, surely? For me, PR2s are a no-brainer...very happy with them.
