    Bandit 1200S headlight focusing

I am trying to work out how to focus the low beam.
I've got it aligned correctly but my low beam looks like it lights up everything for 180 degrees, and appears very dim.

Even with normal bulbs the focus was so terrible that in low beam I had to crawl along at 30 km/h

    High beam is fine.
I've put in a HID system to try and get more light, and even then I feel it is a focusing issue.

Any bandit owners know how to adjust the lens?

Check if there is a coating of fine dust on the back surface of the headlight lens. Not sure where it comes from, but it is a known problem with the K1 Bandits onwards. Mine has it, but I haven't cleaned it up yet. For example.

Thank you, I put my finger through the hole and found it was blacker than when I touch my disks, so I gave it a wipe out with a rag and I'm amazed at the difference.

I'd noticed my low beam becoming more diffuse, guess I'd better clean it up then instead of just reading up on it
