Why on the bottom?.....I notice Gridiron players black out their upper cheecks.
I open the visor in certian situations like, going through the Waipua Forrest yesterday, visor up, easier/clear vision all the way.

If the sun overpowers my tinted visor I ride one handed and use the other as a sun shield.

I'm sure bikers coming the other way think I'm waiving at them ahaha.

But yeah tape would be safer.

Strange as it may seem, before the tape, I had (a few times) put my left pointer finger across the top of my visor

    Thanks !!

A good simple idea Maha ! Thanks for the advice. I haven't tried it yet, as I very recently got a dark smoke visor, and I wear prescription sunglasses ..... and so far, with the new dark visor, I haven't had the problem you are talking about ....

But I understand the situation, as it is something I have encountered before, traveling back to Whg from Auck in late afternoon. Car or bike .... that low sun strike makes it tricky!!

I will keep the Maha Tape Trick in mind!

The only time I would take it off is at night, not just because the sun aint around but, vision at night is tight.

I dont have a concern at all about the top 10mm being blocked during the day if it means I dont have to tilt the head downwards, the tape only blocks out the direct sun/glear and a wee bit of sky. Yes if you are driving a car you would use the sun visor to the same effect.
