    just a wee joke. no more road bikes for me for the next wee while, might go and take a 600 or 2 from the bike shops in town for a "test" ride though.

    i have some pics but for some reason my camera has shat itself and won't turn on so sorry guys, i can't post them at the moment.

    600's are fun....but make sure you take a thou out coz they are way way more funner

    And your best quality is that you're so humble.
    On Saturday I discovered I've been doing some really stoopid things with the rear suspension on R1's grandad- should be quicker now, prolly not much quicker, but quicker all the same

    Aaron, why is he selling the 600? Is he moving up, or giving bikes a rest. Surely not the latter?

    fraid so....he has a gf now so no more fun for him....and he did say sumin about a house, horse, mouse, not sure didnt catch wot he was on about...all i know is I HAVE A BIKE AND HE DUZNT not nice i know....poor dude so young and under the thumb allready.....he will be a TonyB or a BB in no time, muttering "she that must be obayed" ....sorry guys gota go b4 the missus see's me

    One of the guys that come on Sunday had a "R1 gandaddy" he was pretty dam quick....no where near as quick as me naturaly, but quick all the same, his bike seemed real well settled in the corners........and thanks for the "humble" comment, i didnt think any1 noticed.

    I hear there was an R6 there as well. So much for my theories about POOR Uni students having below average bikes.

    Naturally.
    I noticed on Sat that I was having to brake deep into corners after turning it in- nothing serious, just scrubbing a bit of speed as the bike didn't feel settled. Turns out it had bugger all rebound damping, so I guess I was waiting for it to stop bouncing. Why is it that I can hop in a car and pick holes in the suspension, but I get on a bike and haven't got a clue?
    My daughter telling me like it is:
