Does anyone on here living in Akl do regular weekend group riding? (That sounds a bit dodge doesn't it?)
Are there meeting points where rides head out from regularly or anything like that?
Keen to try a bit of social riding but not sure where to start. PM me or reply here. I'd appreciate it.

Try the calender...Coro 8 ride this Sunday 15/3/2009. All kinds of bikes do this ride and you will meet great guy there.

Hey mate , tons of social riding going on in the background.

The only thing is that most rides from the sensible riders are not put online due to two reasons:

1. too many lunatics come and start causing trouble and end up crashing and so the rest of us end up staying on the side of the road waiting for ambulances and shit like that.

2. cops regulary read the forlums and even tho most of the rides are well behaved we like our own privacy.



All that said we sometimes put "All welcome" rides. Turning up to those is a good way to meet new people at a similar riding style as yourself and also find out who are the loonatics you'r rather not ride with.

There is a very good menthor ride leaving shell westgate on wednesdays - 6:30 meet up and 7pm shoot off. Look for North Shore Street Skills on the calendar to find out more.
