    Great event

I was going to be away, but as I'm not I am intending on coming along. This was great fun when I last did it and the kids get a real buzz out of it.
    Cya there

    Good run, not to cold.

I have been told there were 76 bikes.

Most will be sitting at Wheatsheaf now.

Hey Steve, just a note of warning - you would need to check with PMC if I'm right -

My understanding is PMC do not post any photos of the kids on their website because of them being kids and of the various reasons they are there at the home

Just in regards to the photos you just put up.

    Just a note to the geniuses who decided to block traffic today;

You have no right whatsoever blocking traffic on public roads to try and aid the flow of motorcyclists on the ride. I was waiting in line behind one motorcyclist at the Centaurus road intersection, and it is disgraceful that when a car tryed to pass them to continue on its way that they gave it a whack on the side panel. If they thought that anything that motorist said or did was inappropriate, then they need to harden the fuck up and respect the road rules, because they had every right to get out and berate you for holding up traffic and then having the audacity to lay hands on their vehicle.
That sort of bullshit can only harm the image of motorcycling in general in the public eye. If you want a clear, flowing run then for fuck's sake ask for police aid.

I hope the kids got something out of today.

It would seem they don't mind at all. They've got a link on their website to a bunch of photos on the Ulysses site.

    edit: link removed.

I went out for a ride yesterday and came across the aftermath still hanging around at the Wheatsheaf.

    As I said, I'm not a member.

But I specifically remember Steve having told me once they don't put photos of the kids out.

    Edit-

Excellent photos by the Ulyssess photographer(s).

    Smile

This was my first Chomley run and my first outing with company. After a good many years out of the saddle, I'm still getting aquainted with the bike and riding in general so I apologise to those who were witness to wanton use of blinkers, sloppy gear selection and a myriad of other newbie antics.

As for the run, I really enjoyed myself. We got a good day, though judging from the weather the night before, I was fully prepared to ride in the rain. It was awesome to see some Dads bringing their kids along in the tail gunner position So I think I'll be doing that next year.

It was a well organised and executed run and a very nice way to fill in the arvo so I'll be back
