Riding boots?

Hello girls & boys,


Any suggestions for some good female riding boots? Good ankle protection, comfort and aesthetics are all important. Also any ideas for gloves- the best if possible, my hands are my livelyhood.

I'm an anti-wet and anti-cold rider. My gloves is a pair of Strada Giro, and Boots go for Garnae, they are very good. But if you want color then you gotta spend the extra dosh too.

I've had my Dririder interstate boots for 6 months. So far haven't fallen apart, not leaked in the rain. Come with Ankle and shin plate protection. No toe sliders or anything fancy.

For gloves they are probably the next most important thing after your lid.

I'd check out the new KNOX range from Quasi. I have a pair of his 104 (last summer season) gloves and they are well made (quality leather), very comfortable, extra protection on the heel of the palm and excellent feel of the controls. For me - no break in required.

About a week ago, I picked up a pair of AXO Primato boots on sale from Colemans. So far they seem comfy, water proof, and look bad ass.

If you can get them in the right size, and they fit ok, it doesn't really matter. I've got little wee feet (euro 38-39) and have trouble finding mens/unisex boots in my size.

Ok sweet. I'm an UK8 but I dunno what that translates to in euro sizing. Guess i'll have to go and find out Ta

I have worn my Puma Desmo boots almost everyday for the past two years and they are very comfortable, warm and waterproof. Not cheap but they look good (even non-bike people make positive comments about them) and I'm very happy with them - worth a try if you can find some.
