Hello girls & boys,
Any suggestions for some good female riding boots? Good ankle protection, comfort and aesthetics are all important. Also any ideas for gloves- the best if possible, my hands are my livelyhood.

I'm an anti-wet and anti-cold rider. My gloves is a pair of Strada Giro, and Boots go for Garnae, they are very good. But if you want color then you gotta spend the extra dosh too.
...Now I wear my Classic Air Force Nike lol![]()
Signature!?!
Check out ya local bike shops.. try on several styles & see what feels good!
(then check out TM & find them cheaper...)
GET ON
SIT DOWN
SHUT UP
HANG ON
Come in and see Jax, she has a range of both in store and we can order anything in if need be.
Okay, sounds like a plan. Thanks guys![]()
I've had my Dririder interstate boots for 6 months. So far haven't fallen apart, not leaked in the rain. Come with Ankle and shin plate protection. No toe sliders or anything fancy.
For gloves they are probably the next most important thing after your lid.
I'd check out the new KNOX range from Quasi. I have a pair of his 104 (last summer season) gloves and they are well made (quality leather), very comfortable, extra protection on the heel of the palm and excellent feel of the controls. For me - no break in required.

I've got a pair of Sidi Rose boots, they are very comfortable, are waterproof and look really nice.
I've recently bought a pair of Dririder Nordic women's gloves. They are nice and cosy (they are winter gloves), and seem to be waterproof.
The road to hell is paved...

I have worn my Puma Desmo boots almost everyday for the past two years and they are very comfortable, warm and waterproof. Not cheap but they look good (even non-bike people make positive comments about them) and I'm very happy with them - worth a try if you can find some.
