I thought the marked commies top out at about 200 as the big lights cause a shit load of drag.

Actually slower.... light bar causes drag and extra base weight with all the extra crap installed in them...

new commies even have 2 batteries...

Never found out the top speed of the turbo ZX we had as a mufti a few years back but I suspect it WAS over a 100kph...

But don't have big-ass (sorry Hitch) lights stuck on the roof nowadays...lots more streamlined.

I think the traditional holden marked cars are limited to 180 kph but although you're not supposed to, it's possible to unhook the battery for a certain time and the computer looses its memory of the speed limiter and then it's just till it tops out. That's what I was told, anyway. Is that right, scumdog?
