Yesterday in Oamaru...Bastille Day

I'd made the journey of over an hour into town to have a cold pint of Guinness. I was wearing my kelly green jumper, had an embroidered shamrock on the collar, and a "Kiss Me I'm Irish" badge pinned on.

Sitting in the pub savouring my beautiful pint when a blonde lady approaches and comments how nice it is to see someone all dressed up for St Paddy's. She mentions that she didn't realise that it was the holiday until she heard on the radio, but she has scored a shamrock sticker to wear and looks the part.
She then leans towards my badge, and says, " I haven't got my glasses...what does that say...

I'M FRENCH?"
