I am riding up on a different time line drom the rest, but travelling back with the crew.
Might have to try and make it for a beer at the railway thurs evening !
We'll be heading up to Taupo early Fri for a trackday, then heading through Taum. prolly more like 3 or 4ish !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Its looking ok for the weekend http://www.metservice.co.nz/public/r...ast-7-day.html

Me & 2 trumpys are leaving Paraparaumu @ 7.30am Sat & going in via Tauramnui. Probably be in Tauramnui by about midday at a guess if you want to ride in with us.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

    Still leaving Friday?

I was hoping to go on Friday. Whether I can depends how many people get in my way at work tomorrow.

Going in from Stratford may be a good idea. It's a nice ride over Mt. Messenger and through the Awakino gorge.

Weather looks better for Friday than Saturday.
