No dont use word as it sometimes tries to bring in formatting and can stuff up the post. Use notepad or Wordpad.

You should use something like Word or Notepad to create the information and then copy and paste it into the final destination. Use word or wordpad or notepad and copy and paste it

I suggest using notepad then copying and pasting into KB.
But don't use Word because it can bring in unwanted formatting.
