IMHO... start at the top of your list and try each 'club' in turn... walk up to the 6 foot high corrugated iron gates topped off with barbed wire and pound on them until you get an audience with your future club leader.

Dont forget to take a copy of your latest CV, drivers licence for proof of age and motorcycle riding ability... and perhaps some cold hard cash to sweeten them up to the idea of your 'joining' their club.

Dress appropriately, try and source a copy of their MC patch and sew it on to your best suit so that you can show them how proudly you would wear their insignia.

Study up on their cultures before you turn up... learn the many and various hand gestures they use and gesture these to them to signify your in the 'know' about them.

It may pay to also have with you proof of ownership of your motorbike... they wouldnt be too impressed to find out it wasn't your own.

Finally... it is always appreciated when a potential new member turns up with morning tea... try taking along some scones... or better still, fairy cakes and a nice hot urn of tea. That way you can all sit around in the garden area of the club and really get to know each other.

Let us know how it goes...

The clubs mentioned are clubs not gangs. There are a bunch of funloving rebel who love to ride and do charity rides and toy runs for needy people.

The headhunters motocycle club run healthy body healthy mind for troubled youth. Of course you just cant join it is a club like the northern club or a country club they are particuler not like a tennis club.

    But mc means motocycle club.

Might get shot down in flames but can't resist having my two cents worth. I have some past experience with 'clubs' like this. They have some good people and some arseholes - just like society. But 'funloving rebels'? I don't think so...

This is true however the fun that they love is rape, assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated robbery, controlled substance manufacture and distribution and intimidating people who are not of their mc.

If that's your bag then go for gold but don't expect me to visit you in jail.

At last someone who understands this! I fully support your stance here. Ok, so you can not join just like that. You need to prove that you are worthy. I mean, why would they allow some lolife to suddenly be able to destroy their reputation as caring charity workers that has taken years to build up?

Go forth and multiply young man!!

May the bridges I burn light the way.

    fun loving rebels

They are free weeling, free lancing rogue renegade rebels.
While they dont play by societies rules, They do abide by societies laws.

They are just given bad press that is all.

Remember mc, means motocycle club it's on your back as clear as day, It's not a GANG it's a "CLUB".

hmmm, I think the usual way to join is to go to their pad, knock on the gate, and when in opens, be on your knees with your pants down, and a tube of KY resting on your back, Im sure theyll accept you right in!!

    Cool

Taco, somehow I am starting to think you are serious. And if that is the case, then who am I to judge? I still have a patch somewhere from another lifetime...

You do have to realise that it is not only about riding. It is a lifestyle. Very few, even from KB, have what it takes to join a patched MC. It becomes what is the main part of your life. Not because you join, but because it is who you were already before you joined up. You were only looking for like minded people to be with, And you did find them.

But if you have this idea that you can rock up to their gate with a bike and a smile and join, then you have really missed a vital ingredient here. They do not need you. Probably do not even want you. You will have to prove that you have what it takes. And that can take years.

Normally starts by you get to know someone who knows them. Then, if you are ok you are welcome to a party or two that they hold. You participate in their Poker Runs (or whatever activities that they hold type Drags, racing, rallies etc). You start to become a regular with them. Then you might get a small job to do: Be at the gate when everyone else want to watch the strippers, go fetch some more beer, clean up after a party, any other crap job. If you do OK you can start to ride with them. No patch, just at the tailend of the group. By this time a year or three has gone.

Then if you have not done any fuckups you might be asked to prospect. That can take anything from 6 months to a few years depending on who you are, who they are and who likes you. But don't be surprised if you are told to fuck off after two years before you get a patch. Not many make it the whole way. They do not have the commitment to always be there and help, do the shitty work, be trusted. Get up at 3am when the phone rings and stuff needs to be sorted.

But if you after some years get your patch then it means that you are trusted to 100%. And you will stand up for anyone else with that patch. No questions asked. If not, then that patch is gone in a flash.

But if all this seems like a hard road and you do not have what it takes you can look at a social club. There is many of them around. They have a more relaxed look at it all. There will be no patch for your back. Only a small one for your arm. This is where many end up who like the riding, the socialising, but also want to have a life of their own.

    Choice is yours.

But I tell you, by rocking up to one of the MC's you have mentioned and telling them you want to join will only get your head smashed in. Badly.

Nah, you are takin the piss. Arent you???

    I am serious

I will not just rock up but will try and hang with an associate and get a look in as a hangaround.

I will get my patch one way or another but I have relatives in a club called the coffin cheaters in perth and I might move to oz if i cant get into an mc here.

Do you actually know anything about these clubs and their lifestyle?? They all differ from each other. Sounds like you just want a patch - any patch will do. In that case maybe you should join HOG - they have a patch now... (see my thread about that.)
