Truth is sometimes stranger than fiction.

Had the pleasure of having Jantar stay on Friday night (first time we've met).

The discussion moved onto my bike and the fact that Jantar had also owned a wire wheel Katana about 20 years ago.

Well, upon consulting the ownership papers, turns out he owned my wire wheel Katana about 20 years ago.

Ah shit - it's a sinking feeling finding out that your pride and joy was thrashed before you got it!

Ha ha, kidding aside - that's some freaky stuff there!

I remember straining my jeans over the wire wheel Katana when they arrived in NZ, all new and gleaming. 120hp was the quoted figure if I remember correctly.

Did he tell you about how hard he thrashed it before you found out it was the same bike?

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Bet it didn't look as good when Jantar had it. That bike is meticulous.

Not quite the same but not long after I first met Yow Ling he was in at work and saw a business card with my last name on it and asked if I used to have a RZ500, well no I didn't, but as it turned out he had bought a RZ500 that used to be my brothers back in the nineties

Is that before you married her or after? ... questionably worse in fact.
