My husband sold his Triumph 2500 S last week and when looking at the ownership papers (he's had it for nearly 20 years) he noticed one of the previous owners lived just around the corner from where we live now!

And when buying our Corvette we discovered who owned it before the couple we bought it off - and I used to work with the guy's partner at Police National HQ about 13 years ago!

    'tis a very small world!

And someone on this forum's boyfriend owns my old RG 150.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

A couple of years ago, I was talking to a girl I worked with, and mentioned I used to live in Rotorua.
    "So did I!" she said.
We went through suburb ("So did I!"), street ("So did I!"), house number ("OMG! So did I!"). Turned out the bedroom she slept in was the same one too...

Her parents bought our house from the people my mother sold it to.

Haven't had any other strange coincidences. A guy who used to be on KB ended up with my VFR750 after I wrecked it - he bought it at auction. Not so strange, given the smallness of the biking world. It was actually quite interesting. I wanted to buy the wreck, but my wife said, "You're not cluttering up my garage for months with bike bits!"
Turned out it cost him less than $2500 to get it all tidied up (including the cost of the wreck), whereas the insurance company costed it at $6800.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    Small world eh

I met a rather nice young lady at a party,
she was from Canada, over here on her OE.
Born in Canada, to parents both born in Canada.
    Safe?
    You would think.
We struck up a conversation that lead to family history.
Her Great Grandfather was my Great Grandfathers brother!!!!!
Her great grandfather emigrated to Canada
My great grandfather emigrated to New Zealand.

Too close for comfort that one,
To be old and wise, first you must be young and stupid.

Live your life in such a way,
that when your feet hit the floor in the morning,

    Satan shudders & says....'Oh shit!....she's awake!!'
