    Thumbs up Motorcycle unleashed.

If you haven't already been, Motorcycles unleashed, a century of competition bikes @ the Te Manawa museum Palmerston North, get along & have a look. Opens @ 1000hrs-1700hrs daily until 17 May 2009. Best $15 I've spent in a very long time, if you pre-book for groups of over 50 they'll even give you a discount.
This would have to be a world class display, very professional in it's layout & they bikes they've got in there have to be seen to be believed. 1hr is probably the minimum of time you'd want to allow for. Heaps of stuff to read & lots of neat real old footage to view, guys playing soccer on bikes @ the PN showgrounds from the early 30's & trails riding somewhere in the Manawatu fm. the 50's to name a couple.
So get your butts down there & check out this awesome display.
As mad as a spider, and twice as hairy !

Yeah we went today. It's awesome! We just happened to be in PN for a family lunch and had been driving round to see if the bikes shops were still open (which they weren't). I noticed a big wall with motorcycles painted on the side so we went in and checked it out.

Some awesome motorcycles, excellent displays and mini-clips.

Well worth the $15 admission. If anyone else would like to go we got given a card where you get the 4th visit free - we don't live in PN so won't go again. I'm happy to post it onto anyone who'd like it - PM me.

Photos from 'Motorcycles Unleashed'. Actually, the 1st 4 pics weren't bikes that were part of the exhibit but pretty cool anyway!
