How do you find the Versys ? I did seriously consider that model before i ended up going with the naked.

    Thanks guys

Yeah its been pretty forgiving to me, i am always finding that i am learning something new everytime I get on it.

Definately a great choice of bike to anyone stepping up from a two fitty.

I'm loving the Versys at the moment, only done 750k's though, after a short biking break. Very forgiving like you say, so easy to get on with.

I opted for the Versys just for the riding position in the end, as I was firstly looking for an adventure type bike, but got scared about falling off a new bike learning to off road a bit.

Can't wait for the break-in to end, and open her up a little more!

Wicked, I just had my 5k service for this bike. Only been riding it since December so starting to get a few k's behind me now.

I have never really considered the offroad side of adventuring/touring i guess for me its more about the open road. Think i will just settle for a trail bike or something similiar to work on that fetish!

Welcome - I went from ER6n to a Versys (via a GSXR!) and they're both awesome machines - enjoy
Better to keep quiet and have people think you're stupid than open your mouth and prove it!

Nothing wrong with a good pack rack on a bike even if it does look a little Metrosexual
