Riding into the sun, when the sun is low and in your eyes?
Riding from sufilled areas into deeply shaded areas, when the sun is low and in your face?
Riding against traffic which has the sun down very low and in their faces?
Riding into deep shade, against the sun, when its very low and in the faces of on-coming traffic?
Riding against traffic in very low sun, into a shaded area, wearing black, dark bike, lights off?
Riding toward others driving in low azimuth sun, first thing in the morning?
Ditto, during home traffic?
Riding against a very low sun, while sitting on your bike backwards, and texting?
I'm heartened to observe the quality of this thread has arrived at a point of no return. It has served it's purpose, in as much as, I am even more heartened to learn that so many bikers 'actually' realise that riding on their bikes, facing backwards while texting, is arguably 'the' most dangerous of all circumstances posited in the poll.
Which all just goes to show the intelligence levels of the 55 who voted for that option are clearly brain-surgeons-in-waiting.
Heavens! And they say some of us bikers are thickies!
Mind you, I did, at one stage, wonder if I should have included riding older-style bikes (with heaps of ground clearance) in the fashion of a woman while performing missionary-position sex. Body beneath the bike, ankles locked around the seat, and hands stretched up to the bars....But then I also thought it might tax the imaginations of the real derring-doers to the point where they might like to try it.
Nevertheless. Thank you to all respondents. I shall now send the results to both ACC and LTNZ, to demonstrate just what a brilliantly intellingent bunch of folk are we bikers, and, therefore, we deserve a reduction in ACC levies.
Only 'Now' exists in reality.
Being blinded by the sun at any point in time on any point of the road and under any circumstances is my answer.....
So the all of the above button is where????
