    Rangiora...does't that bring back memories...

Railway crossing at the Chch end of East belt heading toward Woodend. Hit it at a good (Constant) speed and it felt like 50m (probably only 5) Was good till the old biddy there dobbed me in to the school....guess the uniform was a give away.

Then there was the time Robyn Mc from Amberly rode past the high school on a borrowed Kawaka 500 tripple in third, throttle wide open, leaving a trail of blue smoke, one hand on the throttle and one holding the old scooter style hat on his head (the noffa did not do the straps up), tears streaming from his eyes, cheeks flapping in the breeze... 6 week suspension after 6 of the best...

Then there was the time....sigh...way back when...

Welcome to the site, enjoy your stay, and thanks for the memories...

Hehe yeah, did the same thing, it's definately steeper than it looks.

I'm sure Harleys weren't designed to fly, but it coped pretty well.

on a Harley s the landing I would be worried about...860 kg crashing down though that budget yank suspension leaving sump impressions in the Canterbury bitch O mine...(Can't spell bitchumen...bicher...bitcher....) Wheres the spell check on this thing?

I checked, and I do not weigh 610kg!

Anyway, running a dry sump there's no oil pan of any significant proportion on an HD my friend, so it's all good.... Bitumen.
