What didn't you like about the 016's? Too slow handling on the gixxer?

    Reviving something old

Well a couple of years anyway. I just bought a set of M3's and was debating if the BT016's would be better?? In the end it came down to availability. Can't argue with a set of M3's at $320 190 rear and 120 front. good to have contacts in a country where they don't get ripped on price and the shipping is free (lucky me)

Are these old spec tyres? I have had a set of diablo Rosso's that let go leading to crash last year but maybe the rosso II's are better? I had a couple of slides on the Rosso's weeks before the crash and should have learnt from that. Not too late to change my mind.

What is the latest thougts on the M3's

    I love em,

I had a pair on my 1992 ZXR750 years ago. She was an awsome bike but she was very heavy for a sports bike. The M3's took on all her weight and didnt once give me anything to worry about on and off the track.

I would have no worries riding them again.

The M5 replaced the M3 AFAIK. Good price on the M3's so who cares!

    Reading this thread with interest.

On my second back tyre after 9000 kms, front still good for more @ 9000kms - Z8 Metzeler Interact 'O' version set - Awesome tyres

Gen 2 Hayabusa, including a couple of days at the Drags and a trip, two up to Auckland and back ...

Be interested how a set of M3's would go on my Bike ??

They won't last half as long as the Z8's. I'm on my second Z8 rear on the ZX12 & I just can't seem to kill it, including a few burnouts at the drag strip. I've been running Z8 rear with M5 front as I like a bit more sticky up front.
