Getting ready to ride at home again...

..after 13 years overseas, so visiting to catch up on riding in NZ (when home for holidays, biggest noticed changes have been traffic density and speed cameras!)

Biggest thing I reacon is the cops trying to fill their quota's for speeding tickets. Lots of bikers seem to have radar detectors on their bikes nowdays.

I don't ride fast but try not to slow down for corners.

But you might feel you are still in Singapore when you look at the drivers on the road in Auckland.

Up to a point... at least there is no Electronic Road Pricing in AK (yet) AND... FWIW.... more Kiwi drivers use their indicators. Also, and this may seem like a "challenging" statement, in NZ card drivers tend not to look you in the eye as they force you out of the lane they want to get in to....
