They both have their pros and their cons. If you are the stubborn ignorant product loyal type that believes you must pledge allegiance to one while totally rubbishing the other then you are the fool who will only ever experience half of what is on offer.

I have a chipped Xbox and 2 of my mates have PS2's and we swap with each other all the time. Tekken, Gran Turismo etc owns me hard on the PS2 and I'd go as far to say that PS2 has more and better games (not by much) but once you chip the Xbox it pulls ahead into the distance as a true entertainment system as opposed to just being a games console.

Since you can put the PS2 vertical while still looking cool, it is the better one.

Since you can put the PS2 upright, when u then have F-14's fly past in the back ground while the "top gun anthem" blasts out

I had never heard of it until about a week ago when i saw it at the store, it's good fun, arcady and has the all important F-14's in it, so i just stick on the top gun cd and whip on the aviator's and away I go

and the only reason I got a ps2 in aug 2003 (this time.. it's my second) was gran turismo 4... still waiting ...

mind you, a mate who has owned every console n the last 15 years at least once (pre ordered every console before they come out... i mean all... had some weird shit shipped from japan even) has decided that the dvd in x-box is not as good as the ps2 one for movies... he went into all sorts of technical shit but that was the outcome...
I reckon the dreamcast had the best graphics of its time...
