    New: Flycamone onboard cameras!

With a huge thanks to Ricoh and Shaun Harris, I have been supplied with onboard cameras to sell to help with my funding to compete in the 2009 VMCC winter series.

These little units are really cool and from the testing I have done I am very impressed with them. Video quality is great and they are not affected by vibration which is a major let down with onboard cameras on bikes.

They are very light and compact which makes them easy to position and with the swivel head makes mounting easy!

Take a look at a video posted, recorded on a FlyCamOne. Make sure you switch it onto High Quality

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEsX9GFzJn0

Also go to www.FlyCamOne.com to check out more information about them.

Feel free to ask any questions and take a look at the attached brochure.

    Cheers,

    -Glen

These record without the need to be plugged into a seperate cam-corder type setup...?

How many units you have available...?

    Very interested...

    Hi there,

Yes they record onto a SD memory card (most common cameras have them) 256mb - 2gb in size. Once finished recording just plug into the computer via supplied USB cable and watch the videos on any media player.

At this stage I believe I have 9 available, but will confirm very soon.

    Cheers,

    -Glen

Hi Glenn, could you give me the option please, for one camera. Im looking for a camera to capture the winter series. Will do some research and let you know within 24hrs. Cheers. Kyle

    Hey Glenn, question:
-Ive gone to the website and read the PDF but they dont say how the camera is charged or what is included with the camera?
-Do you need to buy the SD card or is it included?

The camera is charged by the computer when it plugged in via the USB cable. It take roughly 1-1.5 hours to fully charge.

Yes you will need to purchase your own SD card.

    Cheers,

    -Glen

Ive used one of these and can back up that it is top footage for such a small unit. And as was said
already its very easy mount in loads of different positions
I paid alot of money for an ATCII helmet cam which is heavy and bulky and recorded very bad footage compared to this
so if your looking for a good quality onboard camera this is the one to go for

Thanks heaps for the plug mate. I was also suitably impressed with these units.

Thanks again to Ricoh for supplying such a great product!

Hey guys, thanks for all your support, I have managed to sell all the available units so far. There are a couple of people still to confirm but I will hold them for now.

    Cheers,

    -Glen

Hey, sent you a PM. Unfortunetely at this stage I can not get one of these until late April early May, as circumstances have changed a little. Pls Don't hold one for me for that length of time...

    Cheers

    Does it record sound also?
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
