For whom the bell tolls
My wheels are 18xMT2.15 (rear) and 19xMT2.15 (front). Currently has a BT45 120/90-18 on the rear and a Michelin A49 3.25 x 19 on the front.
What are suitable replacement tyres? The bike is mainly used for commuting but will be used for some more 'spirited' riding once I get the front end sorted.

BT45s, Cheng Shin Barracudas, Metzeler Lazertechs (repacements for the old ME33/55 range). There's some good Shinkos as well. Folk poo Shinkos and Cheng Shins but I've been using them for a number of years on my old dears.

Conti "GO" would work well. They have been successful on many bikes of this vintage and size.
