Ah yeah, we're mates. He lives close enough so I can walk 'round the night before the morning after, or walk over to get the car the morning after the night before! :-)

Funny how life imitates the 'net; we met online on the infamous "Triumph Digest" before he moved to NZ. Been good mates ever since; likely to stay that way despite possible geographical difficulties down the track. Motorcyclists just don't mind traveling for trivial reasons, such as a 600km round trip just for a beer with a mate.

Er, I'll leave that job to Mrs Darth. Apparently she enjoys it?! Oooooh, err!

Welcome, warewolf. Don't feel embarrassed about being an Aussie. Personally, I think all those stereotypes are a bit exaggerated. I recall once meeting an Australian who wasn't at all loud-mouthed, uncouth, vulgar or conceited. That was back in 1972, as far as I recall...

Just remember that half the posts on this forum are made by guys who are pissed or stoned and make no sense at all. The other half are made by religious fanatics, crackpots, spelling Nazis, traffic cops, trackday maniacs, HD-haters, Honda-lovers and other assorted lunatics, and make perfect sense. Provided you read them when you're pissed or stoned...

That was probably an ex-pat Kiwi on the dole in Bondi...

Speaking of which, see Top Aussies, even Mighty Mick gets a nomination on page 2.

    Cheers,
