Yeah, but these (and I may be confused with Japanese Dunlops), were special.
Like US$2000 each special in 1990...

Yes, I've been to a GP.
Actually I've been to quite a few GP's and was pit crew for a 250GP rider in the first two Aussie GP's (1989 & 1990? I forget). I was Team Manager for a good friend, and I still have some friends in the pits. If you look closely at the tape of the first Aussie race, you can clearly see me and me mate Kev wondering around the 500 grid assembled on the track.

I have met and spoken to Mr. Stoner (and his lovely wife), however aside from asking for an autograph, I haven't spoken to Signor Rossi.

You may be taking this waaay to seriously,my friend.
To take your mind of it, how about some pit girls?
haha...prefectly relaxed...and loving a wind up! Well you'll know pure speed (not the snorting kind) when you see it then! I'd have asked Mrs Stoner for an autograph personally.

I'll tell you how good I am now. I rode off on our shop XR1200 this morning with the steering lock still on. Amazing how much speed you can get up before you bin it. Beat that then.

I once jumped on my RD400 and didn't notice the kick starter was up my (flared) jeans leg. Fell off at the next set of lights wondering why my leg was welded to the foot peg...

Not bad. But did you feel like you'd broken your left thumb and right wrist?

Cause I do! Hope like fuck I don't have to have casts on both arms...as I won't even be able to wipe my own arse! Dunno how my two female flatties will feel about having to *assist* me there.

    Sort of off track...

But I found it interesting all the same!

Mladin is to me...the most underrated racer of all time. Funny if at the twilight of his career he got a Moto Gp offer eh!?

Hey Pete, you've been getting a bit of a pasting here from some quarters. Been outa town and just been catching up.

I never cease to be surprised at how many 'enthusiasts' will seek reasons why Stoner is not a bloody sensational MotoGP racer. No matter what he's achieved since getting a ride on the red machine - achieving what no other rider has achieved with that weapon.

If Stoner is not the best, he's right up there with the master. Actions speak louder than words.

    Bring on April 12 - Qatar/Losail.
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

Yeah, I know Gaz. But it's no fun if ya don't get any bites.

Any how, as you know, I'm not biased - but my money is on the wingnut for 09. Not a bad bike and a TALENTED rider should bring it home.

I very much doubt it, I have never seen sky showing motogp qualifying. I can watch it with my motogp.com account however
