I seem to recall other riders winning on it.

You've actually proved my point - until we see Rossi su Rossi (Rossi on Red) you can't say Stoner is the fastest.

Now you're really clutching at straws mate. According to you Rossi must be faster cause he's in front right now yeah? But you also have said if I'm not wrong that Rossi won the title last year so is faster? So make up your fucking mind! What will it be? So when I originally said Stoner was faster because he WAS a sec a lap quicker at that test...was I WRONG? Because Stoner beat Rossi at Qatar was I wrong? When Stoner was 2 sec a lap quicker in the wet at Montegi was he the fastest in the wet? So now...by your own admission...we'll have to see who wins the title. THAT'S how you originally said it could be judged was it not?

From three sources close to me (two of which experienced meeting with & talking to Stoner in person), - that he is , umm eeerr well whats a nice way to say it .......... "A very confident young man........" :-).
To be honest though i dont really care , - all that i know is that i would probably act / react any way i could to achieve the mind-set required to meet my goals.
    We are all different aye.

That is grasping at straws. Capirossi won in a rain interrupted race at Motegi where it was a complete jackpot as to who pitted at the right time. I can't see how anyone can argue that the duke is an easy bike to ride, iirc the only person that has been on podium since capirossi won was elias at brno last year when all the michelin runners were nowhere.

But can you say rossi is the fastest either?

That's why they say "We won".

    Think about it.......................
I must admit Bill , when Rossi came up on Stoner I thought now this will be interesting (I wasn't sure). But when he got in behind the Mexican I was fairly confident he'd take that fight. But hey, its only armchair stuff.
Nice to see Melandri and the Kawa doing well. Tough for Jorge.

    I'm happy, two 2nds and a 1st........ Gaz.

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

Yeah Gaz, me too. When Rossi came up on to Stoner's back wheel I sat back in the armchair to enjoy the arm wrestle - not so though.

But hey it's been great with more than just two riders in the big picture.

Melandri?? Fucked if I know?? Is that the proof that the Duke is really a pig??

So is it said that he's a bit toooo cocky??

If so I'm sure you would agree that in his occupation, to be cocky is high on the list of desirable criteria. To be VERY cocky is even better.

Or did I read your message wrong?

I never said anyone is the fastest.
I said Rossi was the winning-est, and that it is impossible to use the word 'fastest" until they've swapped bikes.

You're the only one saying anyone is faster.
Maybe you should increase/lower the dosage.

All this Rossi / Stoner stuff may be a laugh, but we may be forgetting Senor Pedrosa.

He's still riding in some discomfort, and is acquitting himself very well.
I saw him win in Barcelona last year, and he just pissed off from Rossi and Stoner. He is also not as receptive to Rossi's mind games...

Nope i agree, To ride those things at those speeds takes something very special & both of these guys seem to do it "their own way".
Wayne Rainy was a very different character/person to Kevin Scwantz - yet both of them were stinkin quick as well.

Getting back to whos the fastest - well its obvious....... :-)

I don't agree with you there either mate! Seems a LOT of people here have an opinion on who's the fastest. And that's great. Been a good thread as far as I'm concerned.

Seems to me you simply back track and change your tune when it's pointed out to you you're doing it.

Oh and my dosage? I vary it according to the amount of bullshit I have to read.
