Yep, a few of us got this place going this morning.

We sent an email around last night telling everyone that as of midnight, the IT network is switching over to the new Telecom fast broadband service. We told all the staff that Telecom are trialling a new Touch Screen tedchnology through the broadband and after logging on as normal they are to touch the 'Start' button on the bottom left hand side of the screen, select "Touch Screen' from the menu and away they go.

So far, we have had four people fall hook, line and sinker for it. Two of 'em have been emailing IT support all morning and are getting equally frustrated at the lack of reply (cos the guy is wetting himself laughing under the desk). One of the guys has even restarted his computer 5 times and has been swearing at his monitor all morning. To top up the prank, we've un hooked his keyboard and mouse so now he has the right arse.

Sweet! Now I know what I can do next year at work. That's a new one for me. Sound well worth the effort!!!

I heard of a mum convincing her 10 & 11yo kids it was a pyjama party at school today. They took clothes in their bags but didn't realize they were had until mum had dropped them off!
