It's very obvious here that this occurs when the page is created exceedingly slowly. It affects all images on the page: buttons, rep indicators, post count indicators, etc. Haven't bothered to test if it is the server, the connection or my browser choking. Happens on multiple machines, connections, browsers and times.

In any case, it's nothing to worry about, it doesn't impact functionality and is temporary (for me).

Nope; I always use the Light Universe (because it is easier to read).

Bollocks to that!! It can't even follow the mouse properly when you select text. Cut'n'paste only works intermittently... it's rubbish. Google have obviously started down the road to the bad ways of Microsoft, moving from a try-hard underdog doing excellent work, to releasing crap products prematurely. Half the features I use regularly are now hidden.

Or did I just get sucked in to an April Fools Day joke?
    Cheers,
    Colin

I had a lot of problem since the last Firefox update the other day (version 3.0.9) Embedded Youtube vids wouldn't display, attached photos, reply function not working properly. I updated Shockwave and Adobe, didn't help much but installing the latest version of Java sorted it
