An absolute top day... perfect conditions. I really enjoyed today... very laid back, safe, loads of space and as much track time as I could handle. What more could you ask for.
Sign me up for the next one !!!
So I finally rode a bike on a track, at my late age an' all! Valentino must be tossing in his sleep at the thought of my arrival on the racing scene! Thanks to you all, and especially Frosty for a great day out.
As to my marshalling skills: my apologies to the couple of people I directed onto the track only to discover I'd missed a bike or two behind the pit wall - it wasn't as easy as it looked, but hopefully it was a help when I got it right.
I'll be back!
What can we do; we're only men.
Things I learned yesterday.
1) KB is full of fucken good fellas and fullesses
2) A foot slipping off a footpeg entering a corner can make for an interesting time and the gravel pit at taupo is great on turn 4
3) it IS posible to get blisters on your hands from riding all day.
4) I LOVE riding gsxr600's at a mid speed

Great to have as much track time as you wanted. Considerate riding when being passed(by everyone) was nice.
Things got better and smoother at the day went on.
Cheers Tony.
Keen for the next one.
