I'm keen to tag along for the ride down. Where are you planning to stay ? Also plan to ride back on Sunday but not sure if I'll be able to keep up. Last trip (and only time) took approx 3.5 hrs in the rain.

I think Frosty's planning some accomodation, if not I will probably book some motel somewhere...

I will start a new thread for the ride under meetings and events as appropriate when I can get my head around some more information. At this stage we'll probably look at an 11am departure, stop somewhere around 1pm for lunch, get to Taupo around 4pm. Route TBA. Times to be confirmed.

OK as of NOW. anybody that wants in on this fantastic day will be on STANDBY for it.
Anybody that has paid up till today Ill put on the list but after today your at the mercy of other KB members dropping off the list
Still pay your deposit which I will refund if you dont make the cut. -basicly same rule applies -first come first served with the deposits.
