I always have bits to do....

perhaps it would pay to install some new angry eyebrows on the TL in order to sell it faster and increase the value?

oh, while i remember, and have a good photo for the auction (attached)

if you look veeeeery carefully it shows the scratches - add trademe compression and it isn't false advertising

^Here's a challenge for you dudes, see if you can fit the sidecar back into the shed. Like one of those balancing kiwi puzzles. And arrange for a magician to use the XS in a magic trick (isn't the inorganic collection on atm?):P

BTW, doesn't the DR have to be serviced by Suzuki to keep under warranty though??

Hope you have fun. - Hanne

I think I will put the top coat on my fairing and re-loom the dash/running lights

OOh, a magic trick on the xs sounds great. I don't think they'd take it in the inorganics tho...

Heh, you actually went and changed your location before posting.

Since squiggz hasn't posted yet, I believe he said something about finding out what would be covered under warranty, and some stuff they don't want him servicing but like changing oil is fine. Might be wrong.

All the servicing on the DR that needs to be done by the dealer is just the valves.

    We might be thar.

Yo all... This Would've been great, if i'd seen it earlier! I've been so swamped with work and the house, and my applications for aviation lately that i've barely been able to keep up with kb.

I got some really sad news, which will prob add to the reasons that have been holding me back from any kb-related activity.

The vtr's front disk is warped, i think. It's bad enough that if i ride the bike, the caliper up front starts to bob up n down (or well, rather left n right), and makes a sound as it does so. The day it started happening, i stopped bye at Wild West Honda, and spoke to Don. He said that teh front brake disks needed to be replaced, and that becoz there's uneven wear on them, (the left being more worn out than the rght), it's forced the wheel to tilt slightly. My guess is it's something that's just happened over a long period of time. In any case, i used the service manual and Youtube, to figure out how to remove the caliper and replace teh brake pads. (Easy enough). So, i went on to change the pads, as Don advised, but the caliper still moves and makes that noise - which is why i think it's teh disk.

    Help!!

I haven't taken the bike out since don told me to replace the pads, becoz i know it'd cause more damage and is too dangerous (so been busing around - and it sucks!). I think that, at some point the caliper or the base of the brake pad was scraping the disk slightly too.

So, any chance some1 could come bye and take a look? and Jaffa, i may end up needin the bike-trailer-paramedic to swing bye and save my vtr! (or take it to squiggs' place, or the one of the bike places that can fix her up for me.
