Its time to get organising a ride for Good Friday (Thanks Tania, Great Idea ). Schedule and route below is open to discussion and contribution. Format also, but remember if its arranged on here its known by them and shall I say we need to ensure its a civilised ride.

Plan: Meet up early'ish Friday the 22nd of this month (Good Friday) for breakfast. Ride as a group from there through some lovely roads, over to the Coromandel and back via Kawakawa bay. We will do a lunch stop on the way and finish, hopefully for a coffee stop at Clevedon on the way back, after which we can all go our own way (I'll be leading a procession to the motorway for those that dont' know there way from there).

START: Meet from 8am through to 9am for breakfast at Autobarn services on the southern motorway (before the Drury off ramp) If in doubt this is where we are starting (-37.08715, 174.93968)

    Depart: 9am sharp

    Route: according to this link

    Lunch: somewhere we decide? suggestions?

Coffee at last stop: Clevedon (Expected time of arrival 4:30pm)

Total Distance and Travel Time: 4:35 hours with a total distance of 351Km

Who is welcome: Anyone and everyone, BUT we expect you to be able to maintain an open road speed on back roads. Think competent rider, that can maintain an average speed of at least 80Kph across varied roads.

Whose Responsible: YOU ARE, this is NOT an organised group ride, we will do everything we can as mates to ensure you are heading in the right direction and safe, but YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for your riding, bike, safety and not getting lost et al.

Whose the Organisers: YOU are contribute here and lets get this going

Count me in for Good friday should be a blast

Yes I've been reading his site too, some of the bits I think I need to reread, but quite a few parts make so much sense. Looking forward to trying them out at ART (First time , should be good).

That's fantastic guys. Thank you for the feedback, makes the effort of putting it together worthwhile

I'm progressively adding to it as I get time, so worth the visit back from time to time. (Well I hope anyway).

See you guys out there on Sunday.
