Thanks for my 1st group ride people , I have learnt a few things today . Like how not to take a down hill right hander& i also learnt that sitting behind a M50 is not a bad thing .
See you all again soon
Sounds like you had a nice sedate ride :P
Had a great day at HD under the watchful eye of yachtie10
Got a whole lot of things sorted during the day but the best was getting turn one right (well for me anyway). I suppose its right when you are matching the speed of the faster ones through the corner
Due to camera failure I only managed to get the final relatively crusey session in but is still worth a look.

Anyone here attended the Pukie track day / testing day thing before? Any feedback? Do the Cars mess lots on the track? Is it well organised marshaled?

The 4th is a controlled testing day. They are sort of run at your own risk, been out a number of times to do some testing.
They tend to have no marshalls, no bails out and usually just a normal ambulance in attendance (as opposed to the life support ambulance).
Gary is pretty laid back so you get all sorts on the track with you and there is no real control over how they ride or the state of their kit particularly. Have your wits about you as you will get all sorts of lines and speeds, especially through those corners.
The cars go out separately so no real problem there except in the latter part of the day as they pile up the marbles, although do treat the first few laps in each session with caution as there is no one to raise an oil flag or even notice.
Generally I run the day to finish early and don't go crazy as there really is no one there to pick you up except other riders and even getting noticed that you have offed might take a short while if your not lucky.
They are cheap and cheerful and a good place to sort out a rebuilt track bike or such like, which is what they are designed for... testing
You'll be right and have a lot of fun, just treat it with appropriate caution.

The weather looks like it might be ok, maybe a later start.
See what it looks like in the morning.
