The view from West is rain over to the north and the NZ city weather says the sun will come out after 3pm and rain will clear up after 6pm. Unfortunatly although I don't mind rain starting while I am out I don't consider going out into it much fun

Yes the rain radar is showing it coming in from the NW.
Might wait till later for a ride, see if it clears up.
But if it isn't raining by 9.30 I will be there.

This sunday is looking good and I am planning a longer ride than normal and some new roads

Could be keen. I've turned up to just one of these rides so far and the pace was good - a fair spread with everyone just riding their own ride.
