Good planning guys. Looking forward to it.

Two more riders one on a 1098 but been off the bike for 4 months. Another on a 250cc so we will be a slow group indeed.

The 250cc will only join us upto Kopu then he is turning back. I suspect we shoudl not be too far behind the fast group.

Awesome day! Thanks so much to everyone who came along.
Quite a few of those corners were thrashed within an inch of their lives.
I'll be keen to do those roads again. New tyres successfully scrubbed.

Maybe see some of you cornering addicts on the Mangamuka Playdate in a couple of weeks.
I'd rather be sorry for something I've done, than for something I didn't do.

Yep we went past there in the morning cutting across to Miranda, so much better than heading down SH2.

There was also a much larger group headed the opposite way to us so you might have seen them also.

Yes, that was a very enjoyable ride indeed. A separate thank you to Mongolian for leading, as usual you have set a nice pace, it was pretty much ideal. Great ride.

nice, yeah seen them as well, pretty much spend most weekends watching hundreds of bikes ride past our new place, unfortunately because we've just moved in there's a lot of jobs to do but will have to attempt to get out more soon.looks like you guys get reasonable numbers which is always good,i've not yet managed to find a group to slot into for regular outings.how long did it take you guys to complete the loop?

Would have been keen, since I loved that route so much. Crazy that I haven't ever ridden it before!
However doing the ART day this Saturday at Hampton Downs, then flag marshalling for the AMCC Round 5 on Sunday.

I gather they are woefully short of flagmarshalls for Saturday and can't run without several more - if you know anyone who would be interested in being trackside, up close and personal, get a free lunch etc. etc. could they contact the chief flagmarshall Angela Vernon (email: ms.chief.angel@gmail.com) or be there for 7.30-8am on Saturday.
I'd rather be sorry for something I've done, than for something I didn't do.
