Anybody up for a bit of a ride Sunday, maybe head to Mangawhai then upto Waipu for lunch or something.
Weather so far is looking pretty sweet.
Also learner riders do not be concerned about coming on this ride, none of us want to loose our license so do not ride at the speed of sound, if you can comfortably do 100-110 on the open road then you will do fine on this ride

Just spotted in the herald: SH1 over Brynderwyn Hills is closed for resurfacing ... for several night ... southbound travellers will be sent through Waipu and Mangawai.
Only at nights, so may not affect the ride.
I'd rather be sorry for something I've done, than for something I didn't do.

If we include Woodcocks, it would take 2 hours from Dairy Flat to Waipu via Mangawai. So depart Caltex Dairy Flat at 10am?
Or
If we include Woodcocks, it would take 2 hours 20 min from Westgate to Waipu via Mangawai. So depart Z Westgate at 9:30am?

The usual start is caltex Dairy flat around 9:30 am but we could go from say z Westgate at 9 and then meet others at caltex dairyflat at 9:30

I shall be out at z westgate at 9am, see everyone there. will update this in the morning but I would think we will be out at caltex dairyflat for 10am
